How to measure your fireplace

First of all, measure the width of your chimneybreast, and check this against the width of your chosen fireplace. If possible, also measure the fireplace opening, and it’s position within the chimneybreast. We also recommend measuring the room and can advise if your preferred fireplace will suit its proportions. Finally, if you are building or renovating, make the opening as wide as possible – this will give you more options.

Changing your existing fireplace

Find out if your existing fireplace has a back boiler or not, and measure the width of the existing fireback. If we can’t find an off-the-shelf model to suit, we can tailor make one to your requirements.

What fuel are you considering?

We custom finish our fireplaces to suit either the natural warmth of real fire, or the convenience of gas or electric. Let us know your intention, so we can supply your fireplace in the appropriate materials.

Colours & Finishes

We offer a wide range of wood colours and special finishes. If our product range does not cover your particular colour scheme, simply send us a colour reference and we will do our best to accommodate you. Finally, don’t forget that wood is a natural material. Variations in finish and colour are not flaws but part of its charm and character. Its appearance will mellow and evolve over time.
